So to absorb it properly, the right way of using it is holding it just below one nostril and you slowly inhale. One good suggestion is count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 while inhaling. Count 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 again while exhaling. You can do the procedure two or three times each nostril. The procedure may be applied every two or three hours if really needed.

The purpose of the counting is letting the body absorb those essential oils. And also, letting the molecules in the essential oil be absorbed by blood streams. By this, the absorption is delivered throughout the body parts, even to the brain.

Peppermint is a kind of essential oils that helps in reducing inflammation or swelling very quickly. Peppermint can be very effective if ever you have nasal congestion. For your inhaler, you will need to prepare it and fill it with the peppermint essential oil.

Other kinds of oils that used popularly for the inhalers include lemongrass, lavender, tea tree, patchouli, eucalyptus, and grapefruit. The variation of oil depends on the purpose of usage. So one important thing is to be sure that you are paying attention to application methods.
