Choosing Short Or Long Term Costa Rica House Rental Property

By Diane Edwards

More and more people are discovering the unique beauty of Costa Rica. It boasts amazing weather, brilliantly colored birds, and wild animals that roam freely. This Central American country is blessed with friendly, well educated citizens pleased to see the tourists who flock there every year. The country has a vibrant economy that depends on tourism for much of its stability. If you are lucky enough to have an opportunity to visit, you will find a huge selection of Costa Rica house rental properties to stay in.

Since tourism is so important to the economy, it is not surprising that developers have built a number of luxurious villas for tourists to enjoy when visiting the country. If money is no object, you can rent an incredible ten or eleven bedroom mansion complete with its own infinity pool, fully equipped workout area, and bar. This would be an excellent choice for housing destination wedding guests, and a wonderful place to have the reception.

If your pocketbook doesn't extend that far, you can still visit the region in style with a two bedroom, two bath residence for about the same cost you would spend on a nice hotel room. In this price range, you can expect oceanfront and ocean views, a private pool and covered patio. In most of these accommodations, large screen televisions, wire free internet, and air-conditioning are standard amenities.

You will find a good selection of condominium choices all over the country. For about a hundred dollars a night you can get a luxurious one bedroom with a fully furnished kitchen overlooking the pool. These buildings are generally convenient to malls, fine dining, and the local airport. As with all rentals, the price will vary depending upon the time of year you visit.

If staying right on the ocean is important to you, there are usually plenty of single family residences available with a couple of bedrooms and baths. The fully furnished lodgings will cost you between three and six hundred dollars a night. Most of them include parking spaces, air-conditioning and wireless internet. The majority of them also are built with patios, some covered, overlooking the brilliant beaches.

For those who live in the country year round or need a long term lease for employment reasons, you have a lot to chose from as well. The location is important and will be one of the determining factors when it comes to how much you pay per month. If you require a furnished residence, you can find one with three bedrooms for about twenty-five hundred dollars a month. Some include stunning mountain views and grounds maintenance.

Unfurnished rentals are plentiful as well. Families who are permanent residents of the country can find houses in the two thousand dollar a month range. For this price you should expect four to five bedrooms convenient to international schools, malls, and eateries.

Spending time in this coastal country can be a very special experience. Whether you are visiting and have plenty of money to spend, vacationing on a budget, or leasing for an extended period, you will be sure to find the accommodations you need.
